What is Fuel Pass?
Fuel Pass is a government subsidy that helps you cover part of your fuel costs (petrol or diesel). It is provided as financial support for a specific period due to increased energy prices. The application platform is expected to open soon.
Am I eligible for the Fuel Pass?
You can receive the Fuel Pass if you:
- Are a tax resident of Greece
- Have declared income within the program limits
- Own a vehicle in circulation (car or motorcycle)
- Meet the program’s income criteria
How much money will I receive?
The amount you receive from Fuel Pass depends on:
- Your place of residence
- Your type of vehicle
- The applicable program
For 2026, the amounts are:
Mainland Greece
- Car owners: €50 (digital card) / €40 (IBAN)
- Motorcycle owners: €30 (digital card) / €25 (IBAN)
Islands
- Car owners: €60 (digital card) / €50 (IBAN)
- Motorcycle owners: €35 (digital card) / €30 (IBAN)
By choosing Snappi for your Fuel Pass, you can receive the maximum amount via a digital card that can be used at all fuel stations.
How do I apply for the Fuel Pass?
You can apply online through vouchers.gov.gr. The platform is expected to open soon.
You will need:
- Taxisnet / myAADE credentials
- Verified contact details (mobile & email)
How will I receive the Fuel Pass money?
You have two options:
- A digital card for direct use at fuel stations
- A bank account (IBAN)
With Snappi, both options are available. However, if you choose the digital card, you will receive the maximum amount you are entitled to.
How can I receive the maximum Fuel Pass amount with Snappi?
Snappi allows you to issue a digital card to receive your Fuel Pass, so you can get the maximum amount compared to receiving it via IBAN.
After completing your application on vouchers.gov.gr, select the Snappi digital card in the final step.
There is no fee for issuing the Fuel Pass digital card.
Where can I use the Fuel Pass digital card?
Once issued, the Fuel Pass digital card can be used exclusively for:
- Fuel purchases at gas stations
- Public transport (by tapping the card on ticket validators)
- Taxi payments (via POS, like a debit card)
Can I get the Fuel Pass with Snappi if I don’t have an account?
Yes, you can.
After applying on vouchers.gov.gr and selecting the Snappi digital card, download the Snappi app and choose “Get Fuel Pass” from the home screen.
Follow the steps to quickly and easily issue your Snappi Fuel Pass digital card.

How many vehicles can I declare?
Each vehicle or motorcycle can be declared by only one individual.
You can declare a vehicle if you:
- Fully own it
- Co-own it
- Lease it (leasing contract)
Each person can declare only one vehicle or motorcycle.
The vehicle must:
- Be in circulation
- Be insured
- Have no outstanding road tax
What are the income criteria?
The criteria are based on your declared household income for tax year 2024:
- Up to €25,000 for single individuals
- Up to €35,000 for married couples or civil partners
- +€5,000 for each dependent child
For single-parent families:
- Up to €39,000
- +€5,000 for each additional child after the first
How can I get extra Shell fuel benefits with Snappi?
If you don’t have a Snappi account, you can open one and get an extra €40 for Shell fuel (Shell GO+). This offer is independent of the Fuel Pass.
Follow these steps:
- Fill in the form
- Download the Snappi app & open an account
- Make 3 transactions (minimum €5 each) with your Snappi Mastercard debit card.
Once completed, you will receive a €40 Shell fuel voucher via email within 10 working days.
