Santorini Experience is the island’s signature sports tourism event, happening October 10–12, 2025. It combines exhilarating running and open-water swimming races with breathtaking views of Oia, Imerovigli, Fira, and the iconic volcano—turning athletic achievement into a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

It combines exhilarating running and open-water swimming races with breathtaking views of Oia, Imerovigli, Fira, and the iconic volcano—turning athletic achievement into a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
What are the routes?
Runners can choose between 15 km, 10 km, or 5 km trails along the Caldera, starting and ending in Oia via Imerovigli and Firostefani. Swimmers will conquer a spectacular 2.4 km open-water route from the volcano to the old port of Fira.
