One year ago, Snappi made its very first snap. Today, we’re celebrating a year filled with firsts, new ideas and everyday moments shared with Snappiers.

During our first year, Snappi became part of the everyday lives of more and more people. We developed new partnerships, introduced new products and features, and continued improving the Snappi app based on our customers’ real needs.

Behind every transaction, every new feature and every step forward, however, lies something even more important: the trust of the people who chose Snappi to manage their money.

Every new product, another step forward

From the very beginning, our goal was to create a different banking experience: 100% digital, simple and human.

With Zero Fees, our customers made transactions in Greece and abroad with no fees from Snappi. They travelled, paid bills and subscriptions, and transferred money through the app, with human support available 24/7.

Snappi Pay Later brought greater flexibility to everyday purchases through a continuously growing network of partners. Snappi Cash Now 2-1-0 introduced an instant liquidity solution for real-life needs, while the Snappi Savings Account became a new ally for anyone who wants to put money aside.

Together, we added rewards, cashback, new partnerships and useful features such as Split the Bill. Every new addition became another building block in the banking experience we continue to create.

From 7 to 20 September, new Snappi customers can earn a €30 cash reward by completing the participation form, opening a Snappi account and making 3 transactions of at least €5 each with their Snappi Mastercard debit card.

At the same time, from 8 to 13 September, a surprise birthday gift may pop up in your Snappi app, ranging from vouchers from our partners to cash credited directly to your account. Open the Snappi app—the next surprise could be yours.

And because every purchase can give something back, you can earn 1.5% cashback on purchases made with your Snappi Mastercard.

With Refer a Friend, you can introduce your friends to Snappi and both earn a reward. You can receive €30 for every successful referral, while each friend who completes the required steps receives €10.

The celebration also returns to where it all began: Ioannina, the home of Snappi. For 8 special evenings, Litharitsia Park will be transformed into the city’s first pop-up open-air cinema, with free screenings under the stars. Snappi Open Air Cinema is organised with the support of Cinobo and the Municipality of Ioannina – Directorate of Culture.

Snappi and Mastercard are also joining forces to support the Ioannina Lake Run, a race that has been a landmark event for the city for 20 years. At the Snappi booth, visitors will be able to play, win and celebrate with us beside Lake Pamvotida.
