To mark its first year in operation, Snappi, the first Greek neobank licensed by the European Central Bank (ECB), celebrated its first anniversary in a unique way: it brought the magic of cinema to Litharitsia Park in Ioannina, creating—with the support of the Municipality of Ioannina and Cinobo—a pop-up summer movie theater with free admission for everyone.

Eight evenings, six films, and a shared cinematic experience. Curated by Cinobo, the program brought beloved and award-winning films to audiences, ranging from “Amélie” and “Erotic Desire” to the Oscar-winning animated film “Flow,” “Under Therapy,” “Kyuka: Before the End of Summer,” and “The Life of Chuck.”

All screenings were sold out, with more than 1,200 Snappi fans enjoying the movies as part of this grand celebration of the company’s first anniversary.

The Snappi Open Air Cinema was part of the broader celebrations marking Snappi’s first year of operation. Returning to Ioannina, where the company was founded, this initiative highlighted Snappi’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and creating meaningful experiences that go beyond the boundaries of traditional banking.
